Lana Cooper

Lana Cooper was born in Hamburg in 1981. As a member of the theatre club Backstage at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus, she gained her first stage experiences. After the Fachabitur in design, she attended the Free acting school from 2005 on. Cooper played the leading part in BEDWAYS (2009) by RP Kahl. Her breakthrough came with the leading female part in the improvisation movie LOVE STEAKS (2012) by Jakob Lass, for which she was awarded as Best Female Actor at the Filmfest München 2013 and the Evolution Mallorca Filmfestival 2014. Most recently, she was awarded as Best Female Actor at the Achtung Berlin Festival 2016 for her performance in LOOPING (2015) by Leonie Krippendorf. In BEAT BEAT HEART, she shows again her passion and incredible talent for improvisation.
